GS2’s growth trajectory has been remarkable, but scaling a contractor desk alongside permanent recruitment poses unique challenges, particularly around payroll funding.
As Naz explains, “Our business is growing at a fast pace with 17 heads in just over two years. As we started out perm-focused, it was always going to be a challenge to build out our contract desk at a similar pace. Working with 3R helps us alleviate that concern and payroll funding burden.
There are no limitations on the contract side, which means we can grow fast. Our contractors tend to be high margin, therefore having capital within the business to reinvest into that contractor book is incredibly valuable to us.”

A recent incident illustrates this. “A candidate had his mobile phone stolen, and the thieves were accessing his bank accounts. He obviously didn’t want us to pay his next timesheet in this situation. So, one call and 2 minutes later, 3R had put a block on that, giving him time to resolve his issue.” This swift action not only solved the immediate problem but also underscored GS2’s reputation as a company that prioritises the well-being of its candidates.
